How we collect, use, and protect your data.

Who we are
Springs3D and Molas Online are products of Maestri LLC. This policy covers our websites and storefronts, our API, and the Springs3D Studio mobile app (together, the “service”). By using the service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, an optional company name, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we never keep it in plain text). Content you create: saved spring designs, measurement results, quote requests with their descriptions and attachments, and comments on shared designs. Photos you submit for measurement or analysis. Order and contact details: name, company, email, phone, postal code, and your chosen payment method when you request a quote or place an order, plus messages you send through the contact form.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The Springs3D Studio mobile app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Our websites use Clicky, a privacy-focused analytics service, to measure page visits; this does not apply to the mobile app.
Camera, photos, and sensors
The app uses the camera only when you choose to photograph a spring, and can read photos you pick from your library. Images leave your device only when you tap Analyze, at which point they are uploaded to our servers and stored with your request. The bubble level uses the accelerometer entirely on your device; sensor data is never transmitted.
AI processing
Spring photos, text descriptions, and attached files that you submit for measurement, design assistance, or quote analysis are processed by Google's Gemini API (Google LLC) acting as our service provider, in order to compute the results you request. We do not use your content to train AI models.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service: computing designs and measurements, saving your work, preparing quotes, processing orders, sending transactional emails (such as order confirmations), responding to support requests, and improving the product. We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.
Sharing and service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Google (AI processing, described above), Stripe (payments — card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and never touch our servers), cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (AWS, Netlify, MongoDB), and our email delivery provider. When you place an order or request a quote on a manufacturer's storefront, your order details are shared with that manufacturer so they can fulfill it.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet legal obligations. You can request access to your data or its deletion at any time by contacting us; we will act on the request within a reasonable period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, passwords are stored as secure hashes, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Children
The service is a professional engineering tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
